Jonathan Majors’ Emotional Revelation After Guilty Verdict

Actor Breaks Silence on Verdict, Plans Appeal

Jonathan Majors, in his first interview since his arrest in March 2023, expressed being “shocked and afraid” after a jury found him guilty of harassing and assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Despite the unexpected verdict, Majors asserted his intention to appeal, questioning the basis of the decision given the evidence presented.

During the interview with Linsey Davis on Good Morning America, Majors addressed allegations of violence towards his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. He denied causing her injuries, attributing the situation to recklessness with her emotions rather than physical harm. Majors also clarified controversial remarks about Coretta Scott King, explaining that he intended the analogy as a reference point for his aspirations.

Discussing the repercussions of the legal battle, Majors revealed the emotional toll of being dropped by Marvel Studios, describing it as if “the world stopped.” Despite the setback, he expressed a desire to return to Hollywood, emphasizing that the timing would be guided by God’s plan.

Following the interview’s release, Grace’s attorney, Brittany Henderson, criticized Majors for lacking accountability. Henderson argued that the timing of Majors’ statements demonstrated a lack of remorse, potentially influencing the court’s sentencing decisions. Majors is set to be sentenced in February, facing up to a year in prison for the assault conviction, along with potential jail time and a fine for harassment.
