The Family Business by Purpose Driven Productions

By AO Network Staff | October 2025

Purpose Driven Productions is solidifying its voice in faith-based cinema with its newest short film, The Family Business. Following the success of A Holiday Blessing, this heartfelt dramedy returns audiences to the world of Charlie Smith (Arthur Selders Jr.), a reformed workaholic navigating life’s challenges through faith, family, and resilience. With his wife Yvette by his side, Charlie learns that running the family dry-cleaning business is about more than work—it’s about purpose.

The film also introduces a tender subplot as Yvette’s cousin Stacey (Nelly Jones) finds love with Derek James, adding depth and warmth to the story. Guided by directors Tameka Jackson and Ernest Jackson, the ensemble cast delivers authenticity, humor, and uplifting lessons.

Now streaming on YouTube, The Family Business reminds viewers that God’s timing is perfect. Fans can also look forward to Unpredicted, the next installment, arriving in Spring 2026.
