Lila Iké – He Loves Us Both (Official Video) ft. H.E.R.

Jamaican powerhouse Lila Iké has released her latest single and music video, “He Loves Us Both,” featuring the multi-award-winning artist H.E.R. The track, produced by Protoje, delves into the emotional turmoil of dating the same man, depicted through the soul-bearing confessions of both artists. The star-studded visual, directed by CHILD., features rapper/actor Joey Bada$$ and draws inspiration from Brandy & Monica’s iconic 1998 hit “The Boy Is Mine.” Despite the complicated on-screen love triangle, Lila and H.E.R. share a genuine friendship off-screen, bonded by their love for storytelling through music.

H.E.R. praises Lila’s versatility, stating, “Lila is an incredible artist and we had fun in the studio! ‘He Loves Us Both’ has so many musical elements. She cannot be boxed into a genre!” This track is the first single from Lila Iké’s highly-anticipated debut album, set to release later this year. Building on the success of her “The ExPerience” EP, Lila continues to explore themes of perseverance, love, and relationships. The vintage reggae sound of “He Loves Us Both” is complemented by Jamaican dub influences, creating a dramatic musical backdrop for the artists’ confessions of love and heartbreak.
