Drake and J. Cole Unleash ‘First Person Shooter

Drake and J. Cole, fresh off the announcement of their 2024 tour, take center stage in the visually captivating music video for “First Person Shooter,” skillfully directed by Gibson Hazard. Released on a Wednesday afternoon, the video is a playful homage to meme culture, featuring Brian Baumgartner (Kevin from ‘The Office’) immersed in a first-person shooter game while the real action unfolds in a conference room with Drake and J. Cole engaged in a friendly game of table tennis. The video is a treasure trove of meme recreations and pop culture references, with nods to iconic moments, including Spider-Man pointing at Spider-Man and a playful homage to Michael Jackson, celebrating Drake’s tie with the King of Pop for the most No. 1 singles among solo males.

All 23 songs off “First Person Shooter’s” parent LP, “For All The Dogs,” appeared in the top 50 of the singles chart in its first tracking week.
