Tyler Perry returns with a holiday love story By AO Network Staff | October 2025 The official trailer for Finding Joy, Tyler Perry’s newest holiday film has officially dropped, bringing festive charm to Amazon Prime Video this November 5. This marks Perry’s first Christmas-themed movie since A Madea Christmas and the third title in his four-picture deal with Amazon MGM Studios. Written and directed by Perry, Finding Joy stars Shannon Thornton, Tosin Morohunfola, Brittany S. Hall, Inayah, Eric Stanton Betts, Aaron O’Connell, Natalie O’Connell, Jeffery Thomas Johnson, and Whitney Goin. The story follows Joy, a New York fashion designer overlooked at work and unlucky in love, who chases her crush to Colorado for the holidays. A snowstorm and a life-changing encounter soon shift her perspective on love, faith, and destiny.
