Donald Glover’s Latest Film “Bando Stone and the New World” Out Now! Donald Glover has dropped the trailer for his upcoming film, “Bando Stone and the New World,” which he directed, starred in, and scored under his musical alias, Childish Gambino. The trailer introduces us to Bando Stone, played by Glover, who navigates an abandoned town while trying to deliver mail. Along the way, he meets another survivor, portrayed by Jessica Allain, and together, they, along with Allain’s child, face a series of challenges including monsters, dinosaurs, and sci-fi lasers. In an exciting revelation, Glover also announced the release of a new Childish Gambino song, “Lithonia,” which features in the movie’s trailer and was officially released on July 2. This release coincides with Glover’s plan to launch two more albums as Childish Gambino.
