The film’s impressive performance hints at the possibility of surpassing The Marvels and Dungeons & Dragons, potentially reaching the $250 million mark by its third domestic weekend, securing its place among the top-grossing movies of the year. Despite facing competition in its second weekend, with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom taking the lead, Wonka outperformed other new releases.
